What is Meridian?
Meridian is a nonpartisan center for diplomacy founded in 1960 and headquartered on a historic campus in Washington, D.C. Our mission is to empower leaders to advance the next era of diplomacy. Our programs strengthen American leadership by accelerating collaboration on shared challenges, increasing economic competitiveness, and building geopolitical resilience. We equip leaders from government, business, science and technology, cities and states, culture and sports with the insights, networks, and resources to navigate a complex world.

Am I Eligible?
We welcome all rising sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students who are curious about international issues and have demonstrated academic excellence.
We welcome international students, but do not sponsor visas.

How do I enroll?
Applications will go live on October 1, 2025. Sign up here to be notified.

Is there a deadline to apply?
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. They will close once the cohort is filled.
The last day to apply is March 15, 2026.

How much does it cost?
Before January 15: $7,500; After January 15: $8,000

What does my tuition include?
Tuition includes daily lunch during the one-week intensive training, all course materials, academic expenses, local site visits, official tours, program activities, and transportation to off-campus events during the one-week intensive training.
Not included are travel costs to and from Meridian each day, as well as individual expenses such as housing, transportation to and from Washington, DC, meals outside of official program activities (including during weeks 2–4), souvenirs, laundry, and other personal costs.
